2003-2004
The following literature selections were adapted from the
Core Knowledge Curriculum through grade 3. Less well-known selections were not
included. Eric was exposed to these poems and stories in a variety of ways.
Some he had heard in real-alouds and in school prior to homeschooling. Some he
had seen on video or CD. Later selections, such as the fairy tales and myths
were read by him in school and analyzed using various reading comprehension
exercises.
