United States History Part I   2005-2006

Materials

I created a textbook with elements from several sources. I used printed textbooks, workbooks, cut out pictures from old textbooks, printed materials from the Internet, as well as videos from the Captioned Media Program and the library. I put the materials into a three ring binder with dividers for the sections. If I wanted Scott to look at a video or an illustration in another text, I would type up these instructions and imbed them into the text.

The Complete Book of U.S. History (CBUS)

The History of U.S. (PICTURES ONLY)  I had the first three volumes. I didn’t like the text, but the series had some pretty good pictures, which I used along with the captions. I cut them out and glued them onto stock board and inserted them into the textbook
